1. The 3-1-1 Liquid Logic
To breeze through airport security, keep your liquids in a clear, quart-sized bag and ensure they are under 100ml. Place this bag at the very top of your carry-on so you aren't digging through your suitcase at the bin.
2. Digital & Physical Backups
Technology is great until your phone battery dies. Always keep a printed copy of your Travel Vista itinerary and travel insurance in your carry-on. Additionally, save offline maps on Google Maps so you can navigate without data.
3. Pack by "Outfit," Not by Item
Instead of packing five shirts and four pants, pack complete outfits. This prevents overpacking and ensures you actually wear everything you bring. Bonus tip: Roll your clothes instead of folding them to save space and prevent wrinkles!
4. Tag Your Bag (Inside and Out)
Luggage tags can fall off. Place a business card or a piece of paper with your contact details inside your suitcase on top of your clothes. If your outer tag is lost, the airline can still identify your bag.
5. The "Empty Bottle" Hack
Avoid expensive airport water! Bring an empty, reusable water bottle through security and fill it up at a water station before you board. Stay hydrated for free while you fly.
